“I’ll go further out on a limb, and say that I believe this was the work of “sleeper cells” in the U.S. as well. I think we have a handle on terrorists getting into the country from overseas, but we evidently have more work to do concerning the those sleeper cells already here, who have blended in with our normal citizens! We’re going to have to fix that problem and fix it fast!”
“On another note, Sir, we have some new information concerning Iran’s supposed nuclear testing.”
“Well, what is it General?” asked the President. Chapter Two
“Because the way he was dressed and that he said he got his information from “3 Secret and Sacred” books that he had found.”
“Sounds a little crazy to me too,” agreed the officer, “but the fact is the explosions did happen, now didn’t they?”
“Yes, they did. But that is not all officer.”
“Yes, go on,” the officer insisted while trying to make sense of it all.
“Well, I ran across him again just up the road earlier and picked him up again, as I said, and he proceeded to tell me that some more explosions would occur six weeks from tomorrow in Houston at some oil refineries there. That’s when I decided to pull the car over and restrain him and call 911, but as I was pulling my car over he suddenly and unexpectedly opened the car door and all of a sudden jumped out before I could come to a complete stop. Shit it scared the daylights out of me.”
“I bet it did, Steve. Where did he jump out at?” asked the officer.
“Right here where we are standing, officer. I had just started looking for him when you pulled up, because I was going to chase and apprehend him till the proper authorities arrived,” continued Steve before Officer Gonzales interrupted him again.
“So which direction did he flee in,” asked the officer as he began to ask for back up on his radio attached to his shoulder.
“Well, I don’t know. He just vanished into thin air,” replied Steve as he threw his hands up in the air.
“Vanished into thin air? Come on Mr. Raines. He had to flee in some direction,” insisted the officer as he began to walk around the other side of Steve’s car looking for some footprints in the soft shoulder or any other type of evidence possibly revealing which direction he may have fled in, or who he might be.
Steve meanwhile, just stood still and observed the officer bending over looking at the ground and in every direction as well, when he overheard the officer talking on the radio again, but this time he was asking the dispatcher to call the local Homeland Security office and to have them send out some agents.
Chapter Three
“Well, I hope the Board knows what it is doing. This is really a touchy situation. People don’t like to be told they can’t have all of their money when they want it, you know,” warned the President having reservations on their decision to do such a thing, especially in light of all that has happened in the past couple of years.
“Hell, I just told them yesterday, that they could only get so much fuel for their cars when they stopped to refuel. I don’t know how much more the public can take before they become “unglued”,” the President spoke with apparent signs of worry and misgivings about the Fed’s plan." Chapter Seven“I told him I didn’t know what the hell he was talking about. I told him I didn’t know what on earth he meant by me seceding from the Union, nor why I would contemplate ever doing anything such as that. I told him I didn’t know what “Project Tag” meant, nor did I know what any directive to evacuate Hawaii pursuant to FEMA regulations meant either!”
“And?” Steve asked as he wanted him to continue with the story.
“And he went on to explain that under the evacuation directive, all citizens of Hawaii would be returned to the continental U.S. for immediate service in the ‘Civilian Assistance Corps’, and the younger population for service in the ‘Citizens Defense Force’ if they were at that particular age,” Kalu went on to explain.
“I don’t know what those organizations are, nor what they are for but something doesn’t sound just quite right! You know what I mean?” replied Steve. “It’s almost as if the government knows something of some future event that is going to happen, that the rest of the public is not privy to. And it sounds as if it is a one hell of a major event too! I realize and understand that there are a lot of extremely bad things going on in the world, like the severe economic depression we are in, not to mention the nuclear proliferation and rumors of war, but the words coming from the Admiral suggesting seceding from the Union is just off the charts.”
“Yeah I know. It sounds to me like our government expects things to get exceedingly worse. Evacuating the Hawaiian Islands and putting the civilians into mandatory organizations for who knows what, suggests to me, that something extremely horrific may be coming down the pike,” added Kalu.
“So what else was said at your meeting with Admiral Adon?” asked Steve as he was extremely interested in knowing all that he could about what was said and what else took place there between them.”
“Well, the Admiral said he was extremely concerned about the RFID tag thing, you know, the ‘Project Tag’ deal, of which he tried to briefly explain to me. He expressed his deep concern that somehow the project could turn out to be a serious mistake, but he would offer no explanation as to why he believed it might be,” asserted Kalu.
Chapter Thirteen
“You’re under arrest ‘E’,” shouted one of the agents as he stopped in his tracks with his gun still pointed at ‘E’, as the other agent moved slowly towards ‘E’ to try to hand cuff him, but ‘E’ started to slowly back up and speak.
“Stop. Don’t come any closer to me,” he spoke in a soft but forceful tone to the agent who was still coming at him.
“You stop, now! Quit backing up!” the agent who was pointing his gun at ‘E’ yelled back at him.
“Please put your weapons down for your own good. Do not lay your hands on me. Please, I’m warning you. Let’s talk about this,” ‘E’ pleaded with them as he continued to back away from them in earnest trying to prevent them from laying their hands on him.
“Right. We got you now you freakin terrorist. Caught you red handed with dynamite too. Going to blow up something?” one agent shouted at him.
About that time the closet agent to ‘E’ who was trying to grab ‘E’, finally did grab him to cuff him, when the poor agent all of a sudden just seemed to catch on fire immediately and just as fast as that happened, his body turned to ashes and fell down to the ground in a smoking pile of hot amber ashes.
“My God. My God,” the other agent yelled out as his automatic rifle heated up and he instantly dropped it to the ground in complete and total fear. The agent was shaking so hard that his helmet fell off the top his head and his other weapon, a army revolver, fell out of its’ holster and down to the ground, as he continued with his eyes glued on the pile of smoking ashes, which used to be his partner!
“Don’t be afraid. I will not harm you. Just don’t try to pick up your weapons and do not lay your hands on me as your foolish partner just did, for the same fate awaits you if you do!” a wide eyed ‘E’ tried to reason with the other man for his own good.
